Welcome to my little piece of the internet.
My name is Virginia, but I go by Ginny. I am a 30-something stay-at-home mom. Four years ago, I married the love of my life, who happens to be a United States soldier. Together, we have 1 crazy dog and 3 amazing children. Katie is my pre-teen daughter from my previous marriage, our son, Junior, is almost 2 years old and we just welcomed a baby girl, Isabelle, in November 2011.
The title of my blog came out of a brainstorming session over a period of several days, during which I was in a near-constant state of being distracted by my kids. All mothers know what I’m talking about. It is inevitable that the very moment you try to do anything other than give your child(ren) your undivided attention, they will climb on, fall off of, break or spill something. You are then pulled away and by the time you come back to it, you forget what you were doing! I call this being MOMentarily distracted.
So with that in mind, let me officially welcome you to my MOMentarily distracted life – the good, the bad, & the ugly (but I hope mostly GOOD)! And please chime in with comments on my posts so I don’t feel like I’m just talking to myself!
